I don’t know about you, but I didn’t exactly take the easiest path getting to this point. Some days I feel like I’ve been through the wringer. I am hard headed and stubborn and I don’t always learn the first time, but at fortysomething, I am getting it.
I chose Burnish as the name of this blog because I am burnished – made better by the friction.
I want to provide a platform for some of my very talented friends, share some wisdom I have gathered along the way, ask for advice from some who are way smarter than I will ever be, and have some fun with a community of women who continue to seek the polish we gain through the burnish. We will talk about fashion, faith, beauty, money, work, family, politics and policy. We won’t always agree, but I look forward to the journey!
