I am a lobbyist by trade and I love the intersection of policy and politics. I have my original husband of almost 20 years and we have two teenage daughters. I am a native Alabamian; I cling to some Southern traditions while eschewing others. I am coming around to my own particular brand of feminism because I don’t want my girls to face the inequity I still see today.  I love fashion, design and a really good mascara. Subtlety is not my forte.
